Royal Cheshire County 'Virtual' Show 2021

Following the announcement from the government that all large outdoor events will not be allowed to take place before the 21st June the floral design marquee will not be at the Cheshire Show this year. There is a possibility that a different kind of a show will take place this year but without us. However, we will be running a virtual show with a new schedule of 10 classes. Competitors can put in a single entry for as many classes as they like as the time scale will allow them to create designs over a longer period before photographing them for judging. The schedule can be downloaded and saved as a Word document here and viewed as a PDF here.

There is a limit to the number of entries in each class and you can enter as many classes as you like. Initial applications have now closed but please contact to find out if there is still space in the class you wish to enter.

Novice competitors are particularly encouraged to have a go. Then you can work at home without the pressure of having to gather everything together to take to the showground, take your time over your designs before photographing them and emailing them to for judging by 16th May.

The judging will be run on similar lines to the RHS where a gold, silver gilt, silver and bronze medal will be allocated to the exhibitors. This is a wonderful opportunity for those people who have never entered a show or competitors who are itching to get back in the saddle. All entries, with their awards will be shown on this website from 21st June. There is a friendly support group run by the CAN team who offer help with all aspects of show work. * If you don't have Microsoft Word and have a problem accessing the application form please email for an alternative version.
