17 teachers from across the Cheshire Area enjoyed an Education Day entitled 'Foam-Free Creativity' with Julie Pearson, one of the Area's two national teachers.
These days are intended to keep the Area teachers up to date with new techniques and ideas to pass on to their own students. And Julie certainly fulfilled that brief. Three very different techniques were taught and experimented by the participants - making a wired support mechanism (like a large pin holder), a midelino stick frame suitable for a hand tie or for use in a vase and how to effectively use the new biodegradable foam (heat wrap in biodegradable cling film).
