Follow the step-by-step instructions below to create your own distinctive arrangement.

You will need:

2 strips of cardboard 10cm wide by 50-90cms * 2 heavy gauge wires * Wide sellotape * Double sided sticky tape, wide and normal * Garden string * 5-10 Plastic test tubes * 5-10 elastic bands * Clematis flowers and a little foliage well conditioned * Seasonal flowers from the garden - aquilegia, roses, pinks or similar

Cut 2 pieces of cardboard the same size as each other, anthurium box is ideal.

Place 2 strong wires on one piece of card and tape in place.

Using double sided strong carpet tape or hot glue .....

..... stick two pieces together.

Stick double sided tape onto cardboard and wrap with garden string. When both sides are neatly covered bend into a wavey shape.

Cover plastic test tubes with double sided sticky tape and wrap with string.

Attach to cardboard shape with brown elastic bands.

Fill tubes with water and add a few flowers from your garden. I used two early flowering clematis and aquilegia.

Use a little clematis foliage trails to link the groups of flowers.
