Valentines (untitled) - designed by Pam Fleming-Williams
You will need:
Block of floral foam * Reel of decorative wire * Plastic ‘frog’ and fix to anchor it * Dinner plate or plant pot saucer * Flowers and foliage * 10 ferns/bracken stems/broom stems * Stub wires
Requirements.
Place a pair of fern stems together and bind together with the deco wire.
Bind softly all the way to the tip. To help the bound stems curve, insert a stub wire between the two stems and bind over both stems and wire.
Manipulate stems as wanted. Make 5.
Using the ‘frog’ and the floral fix, secure the foam to your dish. Insert the bound stems into the foam.
Insert foliages at the base of the design.
Add a line of flowers coming through from the back to the front.
Insert subsidiary flowers to finish. This could be used for Valentine’s Day or, by adding a few baubles, for a Christmas design.
