Starting from the back of the horizontal surface of the foam, insert two stems of pussy willow and a line of Iris graduating in length as you push the stems in further towards the front surface of the foam.

PlaInsert Roses to follow the line of the Iris.
The shorter Roses should be positioned to come slightly forward of the rim of the pot.
Add extra lengths of pussy willow between the Roses.ce a double layer of duck tape over the sawn end.

Cover the floral foam with single ivy leaves.
Alternative foliages could be Heuchera, Fatshedera, small Hosta, small Bergenia, etc.

Enhance with swirls of midelino cane if you have them.
This adds rhythm. Stripped Rubus stems or Vinca could also be used.
